城市當代舞蹈團（CCDC）於1979年由曹誠淵創立，是香港首個全職專業現代舞團，以「立足香港，匯聚華人菁英，創造當代中國舞蹈」的藝術路線，體現香港當代文化並以推動現代舞蹈發展為宗旨。於三十五周年之際，特別舉辦「城市當代舞蹈節」。舞蹈節將橫跨兩個星期，節目包括來自北京、廣州、台灣及香港兩岸三地新一代傑出獨立編舞家的作品，亦有由享負盛名的舞團帶來的最新節目，更設有舞蹈攝影展及研討會，以不同角度展現舞蹈的多元面貌，藉此展示並審視CCDC過去三十多年來在大中華區推廣舞蹈藝術、孕育年青編舞家和舞蹈員的成果。

當中壓軸重頭戲有CCDC誠意之作《風中三十五》，一次過濃縮呈現CCDC近十年最精彩的篇章，讓新知舊雨一同重溫本地最具代表性的編舞家之創作，絕不能錯過！

自1979年成立至今，城市當代舞蹈團（CCDC）一直致力培育本土的舞蹈人才，三十五年來為香港孕育了不少現代舞精英。繼叫好叫座的廿五周年紀念節目《銀雨》後，CCDC再次為現代舞愛好者獻上精彩難忘的作品選段。

由藝術總監曹誠淵親自挑選CCDC近十年來最精彩的篇章，在同一舞台上，《風中三十五》將呈現多位享譽海內外的資深編舞家包括曹誠淵、黎海寧、桑吉加、梅卓燕、邢亮以及當紮編舞龐智筠和黃狄文等風格迥異的創作，豐富多彩的舞碼定給你一個目不暇給的晚上。

 
Established by Willy Tsao in 1979, City Contemporary Dance Company (CCDC) is Hong Kong’s first professional contemporary dance company that “endeavours to rally the best of Chinese talent to create dance in the contemporary context of China”. It has inspired and elated audiences in Hong Kong and around the world with superb dance performances. At its 35th anniversary, CCDC presents the two-week City Contemporary Dance Festival, featuring works by young dance-makers from the Greater China Region including Beijing, Guangzhou, Taiwan and Hong Kong, latest productions by prestigious dance companies, a dance photography exhibition and an exciting symposium to revisit CCDC’s contribution as the leading contemporary dance company in the Greater China Region over the past 34 years, active in promoting contemporary dance, nurturing upcoming choreographers and training young dancers.

The eagerly anticipated festival finale by CCDC – Amidst the Wind – will showcase the most exciting chapters of CCDC through the last decade, allowing young and old audiences to recapture brilliant works by renowned choreographers. Amidst the Wind distills the essence of 35 years into one unforgettable evening.

After the well-received 25th Anniversary special programme, Silver Rain, CCDC is excited to present another medley of remarkable, unforgettable excerpts from our back catalogue to celebrate our 35th birthday.  

Handpicked by Artistic Director Willy Tsao, Amidst the Wind is a feast of the most exhilarating dance excerpts from CCDC’s productions from the last decade, including works by renowned choreographers – Willy Tsao, Helen Lai, Sang Jijia, Mui Cheuk-Yin and Xing Liang – as well as recent creations from rising star choreographers – Noel Pong and Dominic Wong. Amidst the Wind distills the essence of 35 years into one unforgettable evening.
